Who we are?
Norinchukin Bank Europe (NBE) opened its office in Amsterdam in 2019 and is a subsidiary one of Japan’s largest and oldest financial institutions. Norinchukin Bank was founded in 1923 and is a cooperative bank with its roots in agriculture, fishery and forestry.
We collaborate with more than 100 employees in our Amsterdam office and are actively expanding our business in Europe, with a high focus on sustainability. Your responsibilities and challenges
We are looking for a HR Officer to join our HR team that consists of two HR Officers, two HR Business Partners and a Head of HR. Together, we support our team members to be able to achieve their potential and to maintain our positive and unique working culture.
In this role you will be responsible for all tasks related to employee administration, hr data management, payroll, in specifics you will:
Be the first point of contact for all employees for any HR admin/payroll related questions
Be responsible for the accurate administration of employee records including (sick) leave, employee records and personnel files
Administer all onboarding, contract changes and offboarding tasks (for both employees and external staff)
Prepare the payroll each month and liaise with our payroll provider to finalize payments for all staff (including expatriate staff)
Manage our departmental invoices ensuring timely payment
Support with HR reporting such as the preparation of periodic reports
Maintain our HR policies, procedures and manuals such as employee handbook
Support cross-divisional projects or process such as the yearly HR processes audit

Are you interested?
We are looking for a candidate with an obtained a Bachelor and have at least 3-5 years’ experience in an HR officer role within an international HR team. You are fluent in Dutch and English. You have experience with HR administration and operations (including payroll and expenses). You enjoy working with HR data (in Excel) or you are interested in developing yourself in that area.
