Who we are?



Norinchukin Bank Europe opened its office in Amsterdam in 2019 and is a subsidiary one of Japan’s largest and oldest financial institutions. Norinchukin Bank was founded in 1923 and is a cooperative bank with its roots in agriculture, fishery and forestry.

We are currently a scale up of 90 employees and actively expanding our business in Europe, with a high focus on sustainability. We foster the open culture we’ve created since 2019. We created a company culture based on our values of openness, sensitivity, engagement and cooperation. What do we expect from you?


Our main business in Europe is focussed on credit lending services. The two lines of business are corporate lending to large companies and structured finance projects. Together with the Transaction Support Team that consists of loan administration officers and KYC analysts, responsible for supporting the front office in the administrative processes related to transactions.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • To review the notice from agent banks and customers to create accounting tickets/payment requests

  • To execute closing process for new settlement to execute contracts, create tickets and data registration

  • To communicate with customers, agent banks, London office to facilitate the administrative process

  • To input data in lending systems incl. customer registration, funding, reporting

  • To do regular internal reporting to head office and relevant divisions

  • To review nondisclosure agreements with counterparties under support from front-office legal advisors

  • To support customer due diligence, treasury fund management, front reporting, research business
